Introduction
Indian Railways is the recruiter of the most number of people in the world. India's rail network system is one of the most exhaustive in the world and many steps are being taken by the Government to increase the length and frequency of trains.
A notification has been issued to recruit over 18,000 people across the spectrum for non-technical jobs in Railway Recruitment Boards. Download the full RRB 2016 notificaiton here

Eligibility
To apply for these posts, a candidate must fulfill the following criteria.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India
- Candidate's age must be between 18-32 years.
- Age limit relaxation for following categories: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PWD 10 years, SC/ST+PWD 15years, OBC+PWD 13 years
- Candidate must be a valid degree holder from a recognised university.
Exam Pattern
The first and most important step in railways recruitment is the online examination. For specific posts, there can be a typing or an aptitude test.
The online examination will consist of 100 questions divided across 4 sections as given below. The time duration is 90 minutes.
